The great sum of CO2 emission on earth greatly affects globe climate, and also makes great effects to globe economy. These facts necessitate lots of studies to CO2 emission and disposals at home and aboard. The sum of CO2 emission from fossil-fueled power plant is one of the most main sources on earth. So the study and disposal to the CO2 emission of fossil-fueled power plant naturally become an important investigative focus.In order to study how to dispose CO2 emission in the products of fossil-fueled power plant, firstly we should comprehend the produced CO2 in furnace or combustor how to affect the mass transfer, heat transfer and energy transfer, etc. and in order to study these issue we should found experiment system test-bed. Based on the experiment system test-bed we design and study a new type of O2/CO2 swirl burner in this paper.The design, aerodynamic field experiment and hot state experiment study to the O2/CO2 swirl burner based on the O2/CO2 combustion techniques in this thesis. The design includes the scheme of feeding gas, passing area of the feeding gas, the scheme of side pipe connected with main pipe, blade and expand orifice. We measure the velocities of the mixed feeding gas including axis direction velocity, radial direction velocity and shear direction velocity. Mainly analysis if the feeding swirl gas escapes from the burner axes, and if the circumfluence area and expand angle are in reason. Based on the analysis we give the better schemes including connecting both side pipe and main pipe, the diameter change of main pipe, side pipe configuration. And also we validate the amelioration effect of the swirl burner based on the aerodynamic field experiment. So we know that the feeding gas almost does not escape from the ameliorated burner axes, and expand angle and circumfluence ameliorate better than the primal burner. We study the burner in the combustion of pulverized coal and feeding gas on the hot state experiment, and test controlling and distributing feeding gas ability and organizing combustion capability, the latter can be mainly incarnated by radial measure point temperature of the segments in the vertical combustor, and also measure and analysis the concentration of flue gas in the same points.The results indicate O2/CO2 swirl burner is better capability of distributing the feeding gas and organizing the combustion, and can preferably satisfy simulation O2/ CO2 combustion experiment study demands in the experiment platform.
