As a kind of green energy, wind power has attracted attention widely in recent years and has been developing fast. As the most widely used sort grid connected wind power system uses asynchronous generators to produce electricity and this result in low efficiency. And also because of the using of gear box the system is not so reliable. Due to high efficiency, easy manufacture and excellent control traits, the direct driven wind power system involving the permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) is attracting people's attention gradually. This paper made a simulating study of a new kind wind power system for directly driven permanent magnet synchronous generator.Wind farm is a typical kind of distributing power system. In traditional wind farm generators work separately and have their own converter system and control system. When wind speed is changing the output voltage of generators will change with it and the inverters have to change their work condition. This courses the low efficiency. When the voltage of power grid is changing the output voltage of generators will be effected too. Because each generator has its control system the control system of wind farm is complicated.Build a wind power system for PMSG. In this system electricity is rectified separately and inverted together so that generators are working in parallel. Results of simulation study prove that the effect of wind speed changing on output voltage of wind farm can be weakened by using this system. And control system of wind farm is simplified.Design a grid connected system consists of inverter, filter and transformer in Matlab/Simulink. When is connected to power grid the output voltage of wind power system has to have the same amplitude and phase with power grid. Get the amplitude and phase information of grid voltage by one phase lock loop and produce modulation signals by the information. Three phase ac current produced is inputted into grid after filtered and boosted.Make out the U-I curve of wind power system under different wind condition after tens of hours simulation and make a algorithm to get more power by the curve. The results of the simulation study of wind farm which consists of two generators prove that the algorithm is good. Put forward a method to extend a wind farm by this.
