Various of light source have different colour because of they have different spectral distribution , and light exposure due to the different spectral color so that objects in the people's eyes will also be different, which will influence the work of the visual. Today visible is one of the important factors to evaluate the quality of tunnel lighting, and light colors on the visibility of the impact is often overlooked swap. This paper focuses on "lighting in the tunnel in the middle of the optical environment, quantitative analysis the colour of light source influence the visual work of the driver," the content of the study, including the color and visibility of the small target acquisition parameters ,and the color temperature and the reaction time of quantitative analysis and processing parameters.This paper introduces the study about color of light source development process, and described the color of the light source includes color appearance and color-rendering properties two aspects. This two aspects are described by color temperature and colour rendering index. Colour rendering index of light source offen means general colour rendering index. This paper described the calculation method of general colour rendering index, and use high-pressure sodium lamp and spherical Promise as an example to detailed calculation of the two light general colour rendering index.In the measurement, the paper from the domestic use of digital cameras measuring method, and its application in the middle of the tunnel lighting small target visibility measurement.In experiments, conjunction with the "Guide CIE tunnel lighting," recommended of the small target size requirements in tunnel and color objectives in the research of color-rendering properties and the visibility by Japan Yamamoto, J., then according to the domestic situation of the actual tunnel proposed experimental method of color-rendering properties and visual study.In quantitative analysis, in order to facilitate research, the light source will be divided into color-rendering properties and color temperature two areas. By the color-rendering properties of visual experiments and color temperature of visual experiments, were found color-rendering properties and color temperature are influence the visual work : In the middle of the tunnel lighting environment, use high color of the light source can improve visibility of the small target identification of proportion, to the same kind of light source, use higher color temperature of light source is beneficial on the reaction time. And get a new color temperature and reaction time on the relationship between the function: Y = A + b / x2 + ce-x.In applied research, analysis the relationship between the light-efficiency and the vsual effects. Through analysis the results of color-rendering properties of visual experiments, and calculation and comparison the R (L) value On the same visual effect, showed that with continuous spectrum of light than high-pressure sodium lamp lighting effects, and color temperature and the same for different kinds of light sources, in the short-band spectral distribution of light stronger lighting effects better. This was informed that the tunnel lighting under the vision in the middle, shortwave is more conducive to vsual effects of human eyes.
