The high-rise structures with the transfer floor which are applied widely are in order to meet the requirements that the layout and functions are large difference from the top to bottom. In recent years, there has been much research about this field, and so many achievements have been reached. The location and the equivalent stiffness ratio from the top to the bottom of transfer floor are the two main factors that impact its seismic performance, but still needed to be further studied. At present, the relational research should be focused on not its elasticity but also its nonlinear dynamical performance. The mechanics properties of structures with transfer would be impacted by different floor calculation assumption, and the rational assumption is still being searched.Based on the research achievements, the related issue that the seismic performance of high-rise building with transfer floor has been studied, and the main work and conclusions as followed:1, the status quo and achievements of high-rise building with transfer floor have been summarized, and conclusion has been achieved from the following 3 aspects respectively: the transfer floor structural engineering practice and experimental study, the theory analysis of transfer floor structure, and the relevant provisions of existing norms for the building structure with transfer floor.2, the location and equivalent stiffness ratio from the top to the bottom of transfer floor are the two main factors that impact its seismic performance, and the equivalent stiffness ratio plays an important part in the load path of the transfer structure. In this paper, a part of frame-supported tube structure with transfer floor has been studied, being used numerical analysis. And 30 examples have been designed for the research which focuses on the interaction mentioned previously. After compared to the involved results, here are the chief conclusions:â‘ the higher the transfer floor is, the longer the period is, so are the top displacement and story drifts, even the stress catastrophe between the top and the bottom of the transfer is more obvious. While the bigger the equivalent lateral stiffness ratio is, the more obvious the displacement curve at the transfer floor is, as well as the story drifts.â‘¡compare to the entire building height, there is a special height, that when the transfer floor is lower than, the higher the transfer floor is, the more the shear transferred by the floor is, and the situation is reverse when the floor is higher than that.3, different floor calculation assumptions have some affection to the load performance of structure with transfer floor. In this paper, there are 3 types of models that are elastic slab, rigid slab, and the transfer floor is elastic only. These models are used to analyze the influence to the dynamic behavior and the seismic response of the structure with transfer floor due to different assumptions. Here are the conclusions: In the high-rise building with transfer floor calculation, the slab should be computed as elastic slab. To save time and workload, at least 3 floors above the transfer are needed to be treated as elastic slab, by which the different shear allocation in the frame-supported shear wall due to the too many constraints could be basically eliminated.4, the dynamic behavior of high-rise buildings with transfer floor needs to be further studied when they are in the uncommon earthquakes. In this paper, with IDARC-2D, a 3-Pin frame with high position transfer storey is took as the model to be processed nonlinear analysis and research the influence to structure seismic performance by changing the transfer floor height. 3 aspects that are the structure displacement during the earthquake, base shear-bottom drifts hysteric curve, and the allocation of the plastic hinges, beside the order they appear. Here are the chief results:â‘ with the transfer floor be raised, the structure top displacement is increased, as well as the story drifts, especially below the transfer floor.â‘¡at the same time, the number of plastic hinges is getting bigger, and the damage to the structure is more serious.
