As an inevitable trend of high-tech development of automobile industry, application technology of electric vehicle(EV) involves core technology of Vehicle Engineering, electrical drive technology, control technology, battery technology and other areas. Under the urgent need of depletion of oil resources and increasingly severe of environmental protection situation, the development of electric vehicles has become a global consensus, thus becomes the related areas of research focus. This thesis is focused on the study of control system based on TMS320F2812 DSP for in-wheel driven electric vehicles. The researches include both theoretical and implemental issues of the control system. The experimental studies for a prototype are also introduced.Firstly, the thesis introduces two applicable in-wheel driven control strategy of electrical differential, and puts forword a electronic differential programme with good performance, which is reference to Ackerman-Jeantand model. Combining with the existing steering system, designs and implementes steering system of sample vehicle.Secondly, a control system of two in-wheel driven electric vehicle is developed which based on DSP2812 to independently control two driven motors. The control principle, hardware and software design are explained. The programme has considered several potential electromagnetic interferences (EMI) and how to eliminate it.Finally, mechanism and electrical system are described in chapter four. The weight, size and the highest speed of EV are explained. The design is applied on an EV, and it is approved it runs steadily.
