Because of the merits of accurate measurement and control to the flow rate, micro flow system has important application prospects in the area of micro drugs transfer, micro ejection of fuel, separation of cells, cooling of integrated electronic components, microchemistry analysis and etc. Micropump, as a key part of micro flow system, has become a hot spot of scientific research in recent years.Some researchers have proposed several kinds of micropump, but they have some disadvantages such as high driving voltage and single output mode. Therefore, it is our purpose to develop a novel type of valveless micropump that has the characteristics of flexibility, low driving voltage, good response and safety in body. And this micropump system can adjust the output flow.Firstly, the development history and research status at domestic and abroad have been presented in this thesis. Some kinds of driving method and their characteristics are analyzed. Then, the scheme of the valveless micropump system structure is given. The mechanism design of micropump is also introduced. The principle of working is given. Through the analysis of inner flow field of the micropump, we establish the mathematical model; Simulation are conducted and results of output flow and pressure of micropump system are obtained. And then we use Fluent to emulate the force conditions of the inner flow field of micropump. The hardware control circuit and software control design are introduced according to the characteristics of the micropump system. At last, we present the experiment method and analyse the results concretely. The results indicate that micropump system has good performance, and they consistent with the general trend of theoretical analysis.
