In recent years, street landscape has been changing rapidly due to urban street's building and upgrading. However, faults such as superficial but unreal, construction without protect have came up for lacking of landscape visual evaluation on street. The application of the Streetscape visual evaluation has very important significance, play a guiding role in landscape construction projects design, construction and management. Therefore, it is necessary to research on landscape visual evaluation.Basing for comfortable living environment and urban function, urban street is the link between society action and economic action, and the channel of acknowledging and feeling urban. With urban street landscape as the object of study to visual evaluation and forecast landscape visual effect from prospers project,we can make some countermeasure and supply consultation for new project.Content of landscape visual evaluation are some parts of evaluation main,evaluation proper,evaluation course,values,landscape analyze and so on. And the basic concept of landscape visual evaluation emphasizes the human using and considers perceive and demand. Starting from vision feature, landscape design is to be more successful by organizing and distributing landscape source after specific evaluation.Manners of combining system theory and practice are used on article.(1)system manner. Being realized to be a system made of main and object, relation of factors in urban street landscape system is foundation to visual evaluation. (2)practice manner. Using easy evaluate manners to case study can improve practical significance from widening evaluate conclusion.Landscape visual evaluation is done into the zone from Xiaozhai crossing to Nanmen in Chang'an road in Xi'an by using manners of questionnaire and Multi-Factor analysis. And then according to evaluation result, this article puts forwards some solutions to set up guidance for designing and constructing landscape of living trunk road from macro-aspect,middle-aspect and micro-aspect. Difficulties and suggestions are given for in-depth study street landscape visual evaluation in a long term.
