Because the steel bar ruts away,concret carboniation,load factor and so on change influence,the bridge structure performance degeneraes gradully along with the time, causing bridge service life perdiction has aroused the engineers and technicians'widespread inerest.Firstyly, the basic theores of bridge reliablity was summarized. On this basis, the definition of dynamic reliability was given. The deterriorating of resistance force model for reinforced concrete bridge in service was established by considering each single facters(concrete carbonation,steel bar corrosion,materials srtength) relating to the resistance forces of reinforced concrete bridge. And then, adopting dead load model(Gaussion distribition) and vehicle load model(non-gaussion distribition), which based on general traffic or rush hour traffic, the max value of distribution functions of in service period were presented.In this paper, the dynamic reliability index of an engineering example was calculated by JC method based on deteriorating resisting force model and load model. Then, the related theories about life prediction was summerized. Based on the dynamic reliability index, the concrete bridge surplus service life estimate method was given by the standard of 0.85β0 and the surplus service life of the engineering example was estamated.
