This article mainly studied on the application of aluminum alloy light-type grid coated with a lead layer and electrochemical polymerization of aniline(PAn) on the carbon and lead.The plating solution and the additives were improved in this article. And the aluminum alloy light-type grid was used in VLRA of 12V,10Ah. The quality of the grid was very light and the strength was high. It could raise the weight specific energy of lead-acid batteries to a large extent. Furthermore, the performances of the batteries were tested firstly. The results indicated that the weight specific energy, high rate discharge performance and the function of low temperature, compared to the traditional grid, were increased by this light-grid in a certain degree. The charge-discharge cycle life of the battery is eighty.Afer that,we made a dissecting and analysis,the result show that the lead layer can protect the aluminum alloy light-type grid effectively.The new research displays that the polyaniline coating,as a kind of novel anti- corrosion material, is thought of an important material by more and more people and it will become one of the most important fields of conductive polyaniline.In this experiment ,we used aniline-sulphuric acid solution ,under the constant potential and the cyclic voltammetry ,and successfully got the polyaniline on carbon and lead.The corrosion-resistance studies showed that the polyaniline film coated on the lead can greatly improve the corrosion of lead in the sulphuric.And the green PANI film has a high conductivity.
