Water supply network is a very important part of water supply system, which refers to high construction and operational management cost. Water Supply System of planned area is designed based on the data of planned area, whose result determines whether the pipe network is safe and economical after its completion. However, there is a certain gap between the planning and the real result about the consumption of water and its distribution because the location, scale, population quantity and so on of enterprise in planned area are uncertain. Safety problems of supplying water appear in the pipe network designed by planned consumption of water. Therefore, it is necessary to make a research and optimization of the pipe network in order to make sure that the pipe network is safe, reasonable and can satisfy increasing demand to water supply in future, avoiding the difficulty in engineering being brought by reconstruction in large scale after completion. Firstly, the design drawing of The water supply network in planned area is simplified according to related principle ,and EPANET is used to make hydraulic simulation based on the planning datum. As a result, some disadvantages such as low velocity inside tubes, low pressure in some region which can't satisfy the minimum requirement, are found in its operation, which make a foundation for the following research.Secondly, methods of sampling pressure monitoring points are introduced and compared. Fuzzy cluster model is used to establish the water supply network nodal pressure coefficient matrix according to principle that the nodal flow is the most frequent and sensitive elements in the effect elements and the principle of hydraulics and fuzzy clustering. The positions and quantity of pressure monitoring points is determined on the basis of network design data, providing evidence for the engineering installation of pressure monitoring points.Thirdly, in allusion to uncertainty of the planned area, on the basis of information and data collected, using the uncertainty theory and reseach method and mathematical statistics method, using for reference from confidence interval model of target value in one dimensional space, reasonably adjustment of water consumption and distribution in planned area is done, and hydraulic simulation is done accordding to the adjustment in different conditions.Finally, the pipe network optimization model is established taking the pipenet economic and security conditions into account. The improved genetic mothod is used in the model solution, and the optimization results is tested under different conditions. It is proved that the optimization results are correct.Research methods based on the pipe network security and optimization of planning datum were brought forward, which can improve the security and economy of pipe network design to a large extent, ensure the continuous security of pipe network after completion and reduce the number of modification of pipe network. So, it has a theoretical and practical value.
