Germanium is a very valuable rare metals. It in the semiconductor, military and medical science and other aspects of a comprehensive range of applications. This article mainly studys the heat germanium co-production project in the boiler room of Xilinhot in Inner Mongolia. We use the software FLUENT to simulate the burning furnace conditions in chain boiler on the analysis of it.And we change the structure of chain boiler to simulate.In this way,we can find the most suitable conditions of the enrichment of germanium.In the first, through reading many literatures,we konw some of the basic nature of germanium and research.And we focus on the nature of Germanium oxide. Because in the chain boiler, germanium volatile in the form of germanium oxide.The fully understand of the nature will be helpful for the research. In addition, we analyse the impact of temperature, reducing atmosphere and the particles remain volatile time on germanium volatile.Then we entered a key part of this subject. It includes field-tested of chain boiler and the CFD simulation. This issue use CFD software FLUENT6.3 to simulate. On the basis of simulation, we analyze the temperature in the furnace, reducing atmosphere and the particles stay.In the experiment, we mainly use the platinum and rhodium thermocouple to measure the temperature. The temperature of 1~4 is1184.8℃,1313.2℃,1014.8℃,643.8℃. And we collecte the samples in bag filter, air preheater and slag to test.In this way,we know the production of germanium on every part.This is the preparation for the next simulation.Finally, we change the structure of chain boiler,the ratio of wind and the structure of the furnace flue gas exports to simulate.And we analyze the change of the temperature in the furnace, reducing atmosphere and the particles stay. Through the simulation results, we concluded a set of more appropriate chain of hearth furnace Lian germanium structure and burning conditions...
