Studies On Warehouse Of Chinese Plant Modeling Elements In Bionic Design

Now the urban environment and sustainable development problems have become more and more important, natural concept is also increasingly spread in the modern design. As a way ofl link nature with design, Bionic design has become a major bright spot in product design.The plant is a large kind of nature, the relationship between plant and our daily life is extremely close, However there is little bionic design ahout plant in industry design. And as a community-based agricultural country, China has a rich plant resources, some more than 30,000 kinds of plants. Since ancient times we have accumulated a wealth of plant culture in the process of using plant. Yet Bionic design has not specifically study for plant research up to present.In the fields of natural, human research on plant already quite full.Since human fill their stomachs with plant, use plant to get warm and use plant to cure diseases,the collection of plants begins. They take use of plant and accumulate the knowledge about the shape, structure, habits and use of the plant.So,ther is a very detailed and systematic accumulation of knowledge about plant in the fields of natural.The purpose of this thesis is to study on botany,ethnobotanical plants and other related areas.And then study on the possibility and the way that the results of research on natural subjects applied to bionic design,Try to find the cross-point between different subjects. the purpose is to meet the requirements of the bionic design. Draw lessons from the research methods of nature subjects,combine product design methodology,And base on the study on other subjects of plant,I will demonstrate that a warehouse of plant modeling elements is needed. and structure its embryonic form and framework, service the bionic design with application of science results.Botany involves a wide range of plant.So the establishment of a complete warehouse of plant modeling elements is a different work and need a lot of time to complete.Till now the accumulation of information and the theoretical research are limited, eager to complete the construction of detailed warehouse of plant modeling elements is non-wise. So the focus and innovation of this paper is to putting forward the concept of warehouse of plant modeling elements mainly and demonstrate the need for its existence and structure of its framework.
