It is a complex and important issue that the combustion stability and economy of power station boilers in the field of thermal energy engineering. While boiler thermal efficiency is an important economical index to reflect the boiler's performance stat. Therefore, to establish reliable computing-models of boiler combustion efficiency to optimize the operation of boilers.It's proceed combustion adjustment test in a 125 MW boiler, the test proceed changed into oxygen and changed into air distribution of the-second-wind with eight different blended coals in several rations. Get the following conclusion: if boiler coal can combustion stability, then improve boiler thermal efficiency and reduce emissions of carbon content of fly ash with rich oxygen burns and air distribution of main pagoda. And then, developed boiler thermal efficiency model applying the BP network. The model chosen influencing factor of boiler combustion included Vad and Q and oxygen and air distribution is input variable, boiler thermal efficiency is output variable, trained in data of boiler combustion adjustment test. It's simulated with the trained result of BP network, analysis on simulated result, result is comparatively consistent with experiment of combustion adjusting test. Finally, it's developed boiler combustion the optimization expert system based the BP network model with boiler thermal efficiency, the mainly function of expert system includes: import with coal data of coal yard and working data of boiler; consideration of the best combustion ratio with mix coal; apply train result with the BP network optimized boiler burning and inquire about coal data base and coal data of coal yard and operation data of boiler and economic target of boiler. The system has applied to the field of a power plant preliminarily, proving that it could improve the economy of boiler operation to further degree.
