Thunder and lightning is a kind of weather phenomenon which occur in atmosphere. It have the big instantaneous current, high voltage, strong electromagnetism radiate, because of the particularity of the thunder and lightning happened and the development process, usually cause serious disaster which is listed as " one of the most serious ten kinds of natural disasters" by the concerned department of United Nations currently. Fast development constructed to turn and city along with the economy, the city scale extends increasingly, the modern building of the key figures and special type is also more and more. According to the demand of technical specifications of against lightning of nation, LPS is installed on building. LPS is divided into exterior to defend the thunder device and inner part to defend the thunder device, LPS include to air termination system and down—conductor system and earth termination system. Lightning strip is one of the air termination system which is used all-pervading, It have the important protection for building for against lightning. Proceed from the building beauty and antisepsis consider, the Lightning strip of building roof commonly layer by hidden.But because of the basis and request of hidden lightning strip is not explicit in current technical specification of against lightning, also do not correspond of the construction diagram, cause many organizations of design and construction for against lightning is indecisive to this. They usually hidden the lightning strip but neglect the technical demand such as, thickness the electric potential electricity etc. So the lightning strip can't successful conduct the lightning and big concrete fall off from the roof when lightning strike the roof .the big concrete will bring the second serious accident which can't image.Through the analysis and research of the actuality of the hidden lightning strip of building roof and the harm of deeply hidden the lightning, This thesis built up the physical model and the effect electric circuit diagram of lightning strike the hidden lightning strip. Through, the experiment of contain water capacity of concrete Then application the mathematic model and the breakdown experiment of high voltage, then studied and discuss the mechanism of concrete fall off from the roof when lightning strike it. The results as the follow:①Through the experiment of contain water capacity of concrete, know that when two of the temperature .the humidity and the time isn't change ,another added, the contain water capacity of concrete added; at the same situation ,when the thickness of the concrete added, the rate of contain water capacity of concrete and electronic isn't certain added.②Through the analysis of destroy the hidden lightning strip by the lightning. The hidden lightning strip and the top steel bar of building should be connected by electricity in. every 12m,18m,24m corresponding with the type of building against lightning.③Through the theory calculate and the breakdown experiment of high voltage, the thickness of the hidden lightning strip of building roof is less than 2 cm.
