The Reasonable Construction Of City Landmark System

The progress of urbanism is speeding up in China. With the explorations and reformations of cities, the urban space is being out of order, the city image being not legible and the cities being similar to each other. City-landmark building on a reasonable system of every city is very necessary.From the city landmark system's basic concept, this article analyses the formation and evolution of a city, further from the perspective of system theory, formulates city-landmark- system on the structure and system effects, and then explores the city landmark design of the system Strategy, to the end of Pengshui country as an example is analyzed. The full text is divided into six chapters.Introduction: explains the cause of this thesis----the misapprehension and abuse of landmark in cities, demarcates the significance of study and research framework, and gave a neat summary of the domestic and foreign academic backgroundBasic research: defines the basic concept of city-landmark, analyses the city to target the four characteristics (characteristics of function, form, cultural, temporal and spatial) in detail.Review of History: analyses the internal reasons of city-landmark formation, expatiates development process of city-landmark-system in Chinese cites and western cities, and study the different characteristics presented by the course of their development.System analysis: introduces the hierarchy of the city-landmark-system and the corresponding hierarchy of city space, and explore the matter of choice types on each level of city functions to the subject, analyses the systemic effect of the city-landmark-system.Design strategy: first to identify the design principles, then explore the Landmark in the position to guide urban space, and on three factors -"points", "Line" and "face" to analyze the reasonable organization of city landmark, and describe the expression of city-landmark in the image with the other four factors of image (node, path, edge, district), the last explain the role of the city landmark system in the urban space in the development and changes.Case Study: takes the design of Pengshui county city-landmark-system as an example, explores the application of the design strategy, provides certain consultations and helpful reference on city-landmark-system design for future city.
