Construction Theories And Methods Research Of Urban-Landmark -System

Currently, many Chinese cities have been experiencing large-scale old urban renewal and the process of new areas development. With the rapid development of the city, there are a series of problems such as the disorder of the city space, monotonous image and so on;Now , it is extremely necessary to strengthen the planning management and construction of the Urban-Landmark-System. Based on the research and analysis of Urban-Landmark-System construction covering China and abroad, this article explores the reasons for the formation of Urban-Landmark-System and the influence factor, experimentally proposes the way to design Urban-Landmark-System, and performs the analysis of the case to be play in this area of the urban design for a bit edification and come forward with valuable contributions.First, this article expounds in the process of historical evolution of Urban-Landmark-System for the three famous cities of China and abroad respectively; meanwhile, it analyses the characteristics of the system the advantages and disadvantages as well, to which obtains the historical experience of the construction for the Urban-Landmark-System, in order to make the further analysis and research on the next chapter for the Urban-Landmark-System. Secondly, it sums up the condition of the formation and characteristics of this subject; makes it clearly that the role of the Urban-Landmark-System and summarizes the various factors affecting the City-Landmark-System to provide a theoretical basis for the Urban-Landmark-System construction. Thirdly, it carries out the construction of the Urban-Landmark-System in terms of the material stratification which might be operated by the planners; marks the first systematic analysis of Urban-Landmark-System and its corresponding relationship with the urban location, then research-based on the relationship of the Urban-Landmark-System and other four essential factors of the city image; thereout, summarized to the subject of urban design practical method and system optimization of the overall idea. Finally, as a case study of Zhuzhou, it analysis and evaluates the present situation of Zhuzhou Urban-Landmark-System, and the author proposed briefly how to optimize Zhuzhou Urban-Landmark-System.
