to make clear of the reason why the single lunette-shaped interceptor used for inlet total-pressure distortion assessment regulated in GJB/Z64-2004, designing four kinds of interceptors, experiment validity research is carried out in the two stage low speed axial compressor and complex distortion descriptor characteristic is detailed compared in each interceptor.The collection of illustrative plates of aerodynamic interface plane (AIP), steady descriptor, unsteady descriptor, complex distortion descriptor, DC (θcr) and the loss of the stability margin are given out, and get some valuable results are summarized by analyzing the data. The results of the experiment show that the synthesized index, unsteady index and steady index inflect the stability margin of the compressor well. And show that outcomes adopting single lunette-shaped flashboard lean to be conservative and rigorous, time-variant distortion descriptor and steady-state distortion descriptor are equivalent in the proportion of the complex distortion descriptor, the interceptor experiment can get the enough weight in the synthesized index. And also show that the low-press-area of the steady total-press moves along the rotor circumvolving direction,distortion can not affect rotating frequency of stall cells and so on.
