Connection in steel structures is divided into rigid connection, semi-rigid connection and ideal pin connection。The traditional analysis and design of steel joints assumes that the beam-column connections are fully rigid or ideal pin connection。In fact,all connections of the structures,in practice,are between to fully Rigid and pin connections and belong to semi-rigid connection。In this paper,by means of finite element analysis,the general-purpose finite element package-ABAQUS was used to research the mechanical behavior of simi-rigid connection in railway truss bridge joint.The content of this paper are as follows:1.Introduce the character and classification of semi-rigid connections;2.The finite element model of semi-rigid joint of railway truss bridge was established;3.the mechanical behavior,stress distribution and stress concentration of simi-rigid connections are studied and compared。4.With the change of thickness of angles,the stress distribution is investigated;5.By the change of the pretention loads of bolt,the mechanical behavior and stress distribution of semi-rigid connections are researched.According to the simulation,the stress distribution of every parts is discussed in detail,especially the bolts and angles which are more important to the behavior of the joint.After that,the moment-rotation curve can be obtained by finite element calculation,the effect on ultimate moment capacity and initial stiffness of the semi-rigid connections through changing connection parameters can be obtained by finite element calculation either.The results show that the pretention of bolts can increase the initial stiffness of the joint,but few influence on the ultimate moment capacity,the thickness of angles have great influence on the behavior of the joint.The results in this paper provide suggestions for futher study on mechanical behavior of semi-rigid connection in railway truss bridge。...
