The space environment in cabins of the marine is a place with high temperature, high humidity, high noise, high pollution. When the marine is at anchor in shore in summer, the power system almost stops working, and the air conditioning system in the marine mostly (or entirely) stops running because of no electricity supply, bringing on the problem that it is inferior to the time to eliminating a mass of waste heat, remaining humidity and both venomous and nocuous gas in cabins of the marine, which causes bad cabin environment. It is particularly an attractive application for solar energy, because of the near coincidence of peak cooling loads with the available solar power in summer. Because of its own advantages, solar powered absorption cooling is becoming the most promising thechnology.A solar powered absorption cooling system, to control the cabin environment, is designed in this dissertation in light of the local climatic conditions in which the marine stops for efficient, less energy consumption, lower noise and harmless processing of air in cabins of the marine. It is an extremely valuable new idea in countries all over the world to promote energy-saving and reduce greenhouse gas emissions today which is very important for rational using renewable energy. Each component of solar absorption cooling system complex heat and mass transfer process, and computer simulation is one of the effective means to understand the relationship between parameters. This dissertation researches on a solar powered absorption cooling system, establishing the mathematical model of the entire system by theoretical analysis and representing the thermodynamic processes, then using the world's leading energy using analysis and system simulation software tool TRNSYS to found the simulation model. The local meteorological parameters where the marine stopped and the system design parameters are entered into the model for the hourly dynamic simulation of the system operation in summer. The corresponding parameters of the various components in the system changing with time are gotten, and the rationality of the system is proved. For camparation with the miniature solar powered cooling system, a conventional absorption cooling system based on the direct-fired absorption chiller is established, proving the superiority in energy conservation and environmental protection of the solar cooling system. Finally, a detailed analysis of energy saving efficiency is proposed, providing basis of reasonable design of the system and full use of energy.
