The study of gait analysis has a long history,it has been maked progress dramatically and perfected gradually with the development of the modern science and technology. The study of locomotion of lower limbs during human walking has become a abroad application in the clinical setting, rehabilitation, anthropology, gym and so on. Commencing with the domestic and overseas development actuality, this subject has designed a reliable and portable gait analysis system. This subject discusses mainly several aspects as following:We fix on the whole scheme on the detection of locomotion of lower limbs according as the application object of gait analysis and the development of orientation in this field. We have determined to selecte appropriate sensor suitable for human body, and given an abbreviated introduction about the sensor.A whole exoskeleton set which is fit on the right place of the lower limbs has been designed. Portable logger collects and stores sampling signals, and then it is transmitted to the computer by the serial communication after measurement. This setting can work in different environments. The design of data collection logger includes the digital processing and interface circuit of the above sensor. We have programmed the bottom control unit and the top data processing uint with systemized and modularized design. The normal gait parameter of healthy human has been picked up based on the theoretical analysis and the experiment data. We use the fitting function about MATLAB software to fit the angle of lower limbs joints and the angular speed. We also compare and analysed the difference about gait parameters between different environment.
