With the development of micro-electronics, diesel technology develops rapidly. How to research the ECU of diesel engine rapidly and effectively and satisfy the more complicated demond of diesel engine control system becomes the next target. Besides we believe that real-time simulation is a proper way on electronic governor of diesel engine researching.This thesis offers a simple description of the diesel model and the development of the electronic governor of diesel engine system, and bases on that the writer proves the necessity of real-time simulation, establishes the mean value model of 16V396TE94 diesel engine that includes diesel model, turbocharger model and inter cooler model. The writer solves various problems in the process of establishing the model, does a lot of work of control system of diesel engine.The thesis implements different strategies to establish the math model of controller, shows other parts of electronic governor of diesel engine system such as the model of executing agency, analyses the factor of the capability of the electronic governor of diesel engine system.Based on MATLAB/Simulink software, this thesis builds the model of the diesel engine and checks it, and also builds the model of different controllers which are proved suited.This thesis briefly introduces dSPACE real-time simulation system, performs the real-time simulation of the electronic governor of diesel engine system base on dSPACE, compares with the simulated results and analyses them, and gets well simulation results.This thesis researches the initial work of developing the ECU of the diesel engine, and also achieves steady base on Hardware-in the-Loop Simulation and the development of the ECU of diesel engine by the use of dSPACE.
