Now the industry and the military technology development request material and the structures are frequently under the impact and extreme environments. The structure dynamic response to structures of warship and submarine has vital significance not only in the national economy, but also in the military technology. The cylindrical shell structure is the main type in conventional structural style, which subjected the detonation or the impact loads acting frequently. Therefore the dynamic response of cilindrical shell structure research under the detonation or the impact loads have the important guiding sense, which helps to the improvement of shell design, the enhancement of missile might,the viability of missile. On this premise, the large general finite element analysis software ABAQUS is used to calculate the dynamic response of cylindrical shell structure acting by missile impact loads.Firstly, in the character of burning gas flow field generated by launching missile verticall bueuing field was discused. The force function of impact loads has been confirmed according to the paper's study needs.Secondly, The submarine will be exerted many kinds of force, such as hydrostatical force, hydrodynamic force and reaction of projection while it is projecting the ballistic missile. When the submarine's movement was simulated using the Gertler formula of six-freedom motion of submarine, dealing properly with all kinds of complicated reactions of projection is the key of building the mathmetical model of submarine's movement simulation.Thirdly, DTFM combined with Fourier series is used to analyse the transient response ofcylindrical shell under plane blast wave. The effects of different factors on the responseare discussed and some valuable conclusions are got.Finally, the model of launch pedestal and model of cylindrical shell are made by the ABAQUS. And also the dynamic response of the cylindrical shell and the launch pedestal acting by missile impact loads are analyzed .
