As an important technology for the old cement concrete pavement overlaying, Stress-absorbing interlays have a superior function in the field of delaying or restraining the reflective cracking of the old cement concrete pavement surface. Basing on Shenzhen's municipal administration road project, through analyzing the traditional stress-absorbing interlays on their classes, materials and existed problems, this essay recommends a new kind of stress-absorbing interlays----synchronous pavement stress-absorbing interlays , and studies it thoroughly.First, this thesis analyses the old cement concrete overlay by the ANSYS finite element method and gets the rational range both thickness and modulus of stress absorbing interlayer. Second, by analyzing the characteristic of crushed stone of synchronous pavement stress-absorbing interlays, it advises the standard requirement for the crushed stone fringe;. By high temperature shearing, drawing experiments, low temperature fatigue tests, this thesis selects the excellent asphalt for the synchronous pavement stress-absorbing interlays. Third, it Suggests the shear strength as index of the commixture designing method to decide the optimum dosages both crushed stone and asphalt. Fourth, through researching the performances of synchronous pavement stress-absorbing interlays, the paper proves the overwhelming priority of the synchronous pavement stress-absorbing interlays on the aspects of joining, resisting rifts, and the low temperature reflecting resisting of crack. At last, the article also discusses the construction handbook, quality evaluating and the economy analyzing.The research result will even play an active role to generalize the synchronous pavement stress-absorbing interlays in the whole country.
