As a new type of retaining structures, geocell flexible retaining wall can be widely promoted in the constructions, because it is safe, simple, inexpensive, environmentally friendly and beautiful. At present, the lack of the engineering practice and theoretical research result in the design and construction of flexible retaining wall system had not become a system. Practice in the construction of the problems exposed by, in particular the urgent need to study and solve deformation. In this paper, using the finite element method and analysis of the deformation of the flexible retaining wall feature analysis, the conclusions can provide reference for the design and construction.Deformation mechanism mainly considers the impact of the construction process, the role of wall and soil pressure. First of all, according to the actual issue of the establishment of model and finite element method, model considering the establishment of methodologies, parameters of the model selected, as well as the applicability of the model. Use the model to simulate the retaining wall on the deformation properties, including the horizontal displacement and settlement. Then the paper analyzed the impact on the calculation of retaining wall deformation parameters on the analying results in order to obtain the retaining wall deformation parameters and the general conclusions. Stiffness parameters including infrastructure, retaining wall geometric parameters (height, thickness and slope ratio) and physical and mechanical parameters of the wall (elastic modulus, Poisson's ratio, the weight of the wall, cohesion and angle of internal friction).To reseach specific engineering problems by adopting numerical simulation and calculation method, conduct analysis arger analysis on flexible retaining wall in Shaanxi section of Jingkun highway after the completion of the wall deflection. Numerical analysis results with the analytic solution closer and verified by actual observation. The results showed a larger retaining wall during construction of the wall deformation due to the slope after the rupture of a cave.Finally it summed up the construction process and deformation control measures of flexible retaining wall by actual construction experience to guide the design and construction.
