By the fast growing of expressway mileage and automobile quantity, the traffic accidents happen more frequently, and the death toll tends to increase rapidly most of which are serious and severe accidents. Compared with the Low grade highway, there is high proportion taken up by single vehicle accidents in traffic accidents in the express highway of our country. Therefore, The research of the distribute regulation and the mechanism of the single vehicle accidents in expressways is crucial importance to prevent the traffic accidents in expressways, reduce the casualties and property damage.Firstly, the paper analyzes the traffic accident data of the six expressways in shan`xi xi`an by statistic analysis method. It gets the regulation of space distribution, time distribution, and the accident form distribution.Secondly, the paper analyzes the person's insecurity behaviors which influence the single vehicle accidents in expressways from point of view of Ergonomics. Meanwhile, the paper carries on a classification to person's insecurity behaviors in expressways by the cluster analysis methods.Finally, according to the data of the single vehicle accidents and the expressway geometrical alignment, the paper analyzes the relationships between the single vehicle accidents and the geometrical alignment by the Integral Element–method. It also makes statistical analysis with statistical analysis software SPSS and establishes the single vehicle accidents estimate model of expressway.
