Curved box birder bridge is an important bridge type in modern traffic engineering. In the highway and urban road interchange project, curved box girder bridge is a necessary means to realize the transportation linking of different directions. In the line selection design of the mountain road, using curved box girder bridge in the necessary areas can greatly reduce the length of outreach and obtain substantial economic benefits. However, some of reinforced concrete box girder bridges have appeared radial displacement even obvious tendency of rotation and overturning in the course of operation. The research proves the main cause of this phenomenon is temperature variation.This paper first analysises the temperature field of 32m concrete box girder in Liaohe bridge and Luoma bridge in Quzhou, Zhejiang province using FEM software ANSYS, then compares the calculation results with the field tesing data to prove that the temperature field calculation using ANSYS software is correct and precise. Then this paper analysises a series of temperature field of box girder with different geometric parameters to gain the effect rule of different geometric parameters to the temperature field. After the calculation of temperature field, this paper calculates the temperature stress of Curved Box Girder Bridge, and analysises the influence factors of temperature effects, proposes some treatments and suggestions for the design and the structure aspect.I hope the study of this paper can provide reality reference for curved box girder bridge temperature gradient, the temperature field studies, the influence factors of temperature effects, and the prevention of excessive radial displacement. At the same time provide some theoretical and practical value for guaranting the technological advancement, safety and durability of curved box girder structures.
