Concrete box beam bridge is a kind of structural form widely used in highway bridges.The displacement and deformation of curved concrete box beam bridges under temperature are more complicated than linear beam bridges,which has considerable research value.Due to the lack of measured data,China’s current highway bridge design codes regarding the temperature field of concrete box beam are formulated with reference to US codes,and the factors that differ greatly in climatic conditions in different regions of China are not fully considered.Therefore,it is necessary to research the temperature field and temperature effects of concrete curved box beam bridges in different regions of China to improve the temperature field and its effect research data samples.In this paper,a remote temperature data monitoring and acquisition system is established inside a bridge in the west of Chiping county,Liaocheng City,for long-term monitoring.And a large amount of field measured data is collected.Based on assumption that the cross section temperature difference of the bridge structure obeys the Weibull distribution,the monitoring data is statistically analyzed.The temperature difference and the corresponding temperature gradient of concrete box beam bridge structure with 100mm asphalt concrete pavement layer underthe local climatic conditions is obtained.This temperature gradient can be used as a reference for the temperature gradient applied to the corresponding design calculation of the bridge in Shandong province.At the same time,this paper uses the basic differential equation of the curved beam and the lowest potential principle of energy.A simple analytical method for calculating the temperature effect of the curved beam is proposed according to whether or not considering the warpage.The comparison between theoretical calculation and finite element calculation results is carried out,and the accuracy of theoretical calculation results is verified.Similarly,using the principle of minimum potential energy,the analytical solution of the temperature effect in the transverse direction of the curved beam and the temperature effect under the three-dimensional temperature field distribution is obtained.
