From engineering application, the methods of theory analysis and digital simulation are used in the thesis. The improvement of the parallel approaching method is presented, which based on analyzing the performance of classical guidance laws. In the improving scheme based on LOS-rate restriction, the directional rotation of LOS is allowed. The relation of normal acceleration between the missile and target is discussed. The variation rule of velocity of the missile and target is given. The determination of LOS-rate is presented. The time of hitting the target and forbidden zone of the normal acceleration are deduced.The model of maneuvering target is an unknown system. Using the generalized mathematical model and Generalized Kalman Filter (GKF) algorithm, the multi-step forecast to the positions of the maneuvering target is achieved, and the forecasting hitting position may be pre-estimated and the relative motion relation between the missile and target is simplified. The normal acceleration characteristic of the missile is also discussed. The time of hitting the target, the trajectory equation and the determination of the forecasting hitting position are given.The simulation analysis shows that the improvement has feasibility and performance. The performance is better than the classical parallel approaching method. Thus, thesis offers beneficial reference for engineering application.
