Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine as a promising direction of vehicles'engine development can combine the advantages of both gasoline engine and diesel, it makes internal combustion engine (ICE) more powerful and efficient. However, there are a lot of difficult for the design and technical development of GDI engine, especially the problems of the pressure injection and emission at the condition of cold-start. This paper mainly researches the function of a new fuel supply system, compound fuel supply system, by using numerical simulation. In this paper, the design of low-pressure fuel supply injector location was studied, and the emission under the condition of cold-start of GDI engine with compound fuel supply system was also discussed.Researched computational fluid dynamics (CFD) application in the gasoline engine intake system, by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) combine the internal combustion engine design theory. And the mesh structure was also researched which was the key point to compute precision. Using three-dimensional fluid calculation software AVL_FIRE to simulation the GDI engine intake manifold, studied deeply the feasibility that low-pressure injector installed on 4G15-GDI engine intake manifold, and considered the impact of different injector location and different angle to the mixture of fuel and air, and then determined the best option.The method of creating the mesh of GDI engine cylinder work process was studied. Using three-dimensional fluid calculation software AVL_FIRE to simulate the GDI engine cylinder work process, in-depth studied 4G15-GDI gasoline engine cylinder flow characteristics and the mixture of fuel and air.The structure of 4G15-GDI engine multiple fuel supply system and it's impact of the mixture of fuel and air were studied.The study on numerical simulation of the intake system of GDI engine was using computer assistance analysis, integrated one and three-dimensional numerical simulation method and current simulation, and carried on a quite comprehensive analysis to the design of low pressure injector on the intake system and the function of compound fuel supply system. This paper has some reference value in GDI engine simulation and speeds up the GDI engine research and development process.
