With the energy crisis and environmental pollution problems having become increasingly prominent, changing the traditional gasoline engine combustion to obtain higher fuel economy and emission levels has become the major research subject in the engine field. Gasoline direct injection (GDI) technology by its research results achieved since the 1990s in these fields shows the tremendous superiority and potential advantages. Now the technology has received national attention and has made tremendous progress.Based on the research of the request that GDI made to its fuel supply system and injection system, an injection programme with back-pressure function based on high-speed switch valve, and a set of simpler and more stable oil supply programme on the basis of laboratory's original hydraulic pressure oil supply system have been both creatively put forward. Through the experiment on the transformed 170F engine with actually built fuel supply and injection system, that the fuel supply system can provide stable more than 10 MPa injection pressure has been verified. The research of atomization characteristic, response characteristic, flux characteristic and open pressure of nozzle has been done. The experiment results show that the engine can stably run under the idle condition and the injection timing has an important impact on NOx emissions et al.In this paper, a control and test system based on the XC167CI and PCI-1711 hardware platform has been developed, this system has greater flexibility and scalability, at present it has satisfied the demands of experiments.
