The box culvert is the water conveyance structure embeded under the ground, it is widely being applied in many national economy construction domain, for instance, water conservancy, railroad, road, bridge and so on, its construction cost is more and more big in the entire project cost proportion. However, the current calculation of the endogenic forces of the box culvert is obviously too large, thus what causes to the computation of reinforcement correspondingly also is big. This will not only waste of steel, but also increase the rigidity of the structure, what is unscientific and uneconomical. Therefore it is very necessary to consider shear deformation and rigid zone in the box culvert endogenic force computation. This paper derive the box culvert structure endogenic force formula considered shear deformation and rigid zone using the matrix displacement method, and has compiled a computer program.First, this paper has discussed the shear deformation and the rigid zone to the structure endogenic force influence process, proposed a few of the key factors which affect the value of the rigid zone in the basis of previous theory and experiment, derived the box culvert structure endogenic force formula considered shear deformation and rigid zone making the matrix displacement method as the theoretical foundation. Among them, there is a general treatment regarding the point rigid zone and the shear deformation. Then the endogenic force formula is complied a calculation procedure,what realize the computation process programming. This paper also uses corner displacement method to prove the procedure correct. In order to make this procedures can be widely applied in the actual project design. there is the further development in its foundation, making it has the function of a visual interface and automatic drawing of the endogenic forces.The procedure really solved that the current box culvert structural calculation of the endogenic forces is inaccurate and lacking the problem of the theoretical foundation. With the implementation of numerous water projects, the water distribution box culvert will certainly to use massively, the computational procedure compiled in this article can certainly play an important role.
