| In this paper, the R & D work of the special instrument and the CAN BUS used in the analytical instruments is introduced. The special instrument is called Infrared Oil Meter, which can measure the petroleum, animal and vegetable oil in surface water, groundwater, sewage and industrial wastewater.The R & D work of Infrared Oil Meter include the design of mechanical system, design of electrical system and development work of application software. This paper mainly describes the design of electrical system and development work of application software. The electrical system is composed of Master Computer and Slave Computer. Master Computer is PC in which the application software runs to deal with the collected data and output the controlling commands to the instrument. In this paper, it is interpreted how to write the application software to meet the requirement of analysis and the control of the instrument, so as to provide a friend interface for the user to conveniently use the instrument.;Slave Computer is the microcomputer of 89C51,mainly functioning in receiving the commands from Master Computer,performing the various movement of the instruments, collecting data and transferring to Master Computer. It is introduced how to design the microcomputer system, and write the controlling program by assemble language.In the part of the R & D work of the CAN BUS used in the analytical instrument field, the characteristics of CAN are described. A CAN BUS System is constituted in spectrometer. CAN ( CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK ) is a multi-leading mainframe LAN launched for modern automotive applications by BOSCH. This paper describes constituting CAN BUS System in spectrometer. In the system, Master Computer and Slave Computer (Smart Node) are constituted . In Master Computer, the CAN interface is expanded by CANCARD based on PCI databus, and the 89C51 microcomputer is used as the control core of Smart Node. CAN BUS of microcomputer is expanded by SC1000 CAN card. |
