Design And Application Of Automatic Meter Reading System In Suzhou Power Supply Co

With the development of economy, the electric load is sharp increasing. Many electric companies provide their consumer a meter per family. As a result, the workload for recording user's flux becomes tremendously to the handcraft worker.This kind of handcraft meter reading technology,separately on the spot,can not meet the need of the electric company. So, research and design of auto meter reading technology is imperative under the situation.This paper will introduce the designed auto meter reading system from signal collection layer, data concentration layer and management center.In the signal collection layer, the contol of electric meter and the sampling way of the electric signal will be shown. And in the data concentration layer, the concentration cell for multi-communication will be explained.The main work in this paper as follows:1.design a 51 MCU based information collection, low-voltage power line carrier module and the IP phone data collection2. design a MSP430 based long-range automation meter reading and collection base on GPS3. design a the embedded remote meter reading implementation of the Ethernet communication based on S3C44BO4. the system of series functions such as remote meter reading, query ,browse, abnormal alarm and a marketing Management Information System with electricity consumption.This system have been used for one year in in Suzhou power supply company. And the system is accurate, stable and feasible.
