| In recent years, construction industry has entered the high speed developing period in pace with rapid progress of urbanization in China. A large number of old buildings need to be demolished because of the service lives have come of or other reasons. Hence, there is plenty of constructing rubbish. Especially wasted concrete accounts for the majority. Most is covered as rubbish with the results of occupying plenty of land and environmental pollution. The best disposing method is to break the disintegrated concrete and screen crude and fine aggregate. This kind of regenerated aggregate concrete can not only save natural mineral resources but also reduce environmental pollution.The Author gathered a lot of internal and external documents. This article states the present situation, existing problems and developing trend of regenerated aggregate concrete. The main contents include the definition of regenerated concrete, the characters of regenerated concrete and regenerated aggregate, the compounding proportion, working properties, mechanics properties and durability of regenerated concrete, existing problems and developing trend of regenerated concrete, etc. Study indicates that the mechanics properties and durability of regenerated concrete are worse than common concrete. But the situation can be improved through cutting down the proportion of water and glue, adding powder coal ash, reducing the maximum granule diameter of regenerated aggregate, changing the properties of regenerated concrete and so on. In the end, the author raised the problems and developing trend concerning regenerated concrete combing with environmental protection and sustainable development of construction industry. |
