In the next 10 years, hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) will develop rapidly, and share some proportion of the market. But because of the hybrid electric vehicle with three major problems - high price, low efficiency , still use lots of petrol/diesel, so its vision is not optimistic. Currently the development direction of HEV is plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.City public transit is very crowded, and stops frequently, has slow driving speed and extremely serious pollution. City bus has fixed traveling line and regular run time normally, the total course that transit bus runs everyday is around 100 km mostly. Under this kind of condition, the emission and the fuel economy of conventional transit bus are bad. But Hybrid Electric Transit Bus can just develop its advantages.In the "11th five-year plan" period, the state government will legislate the implementation of vehicle fuel economy standards and related policy and system in order to saving oil. The state government will implement clean vehicle action plan and develop hybrid electric vehicles and alternative energy sources. Ministry of finance,Department of Science and Technology send out "the energy and new energy finance subsidy funds car popularization". According to the public service the interim measures for the administration of public service domain in the car, but it is a subsidy policy did not involve private subsidies to buy. In finance subsidy standards involve light commercial vehicle and hybrid vehicles, according to the saving rate is divided into five subsidies, the highest standards of every car allowance 50,000 yuan, Pure electric car 60,000 yuan each subsidies, Fuel-cell vehicles 250,000 yuan per car allowance. Ten metres above the city bus passenger cars, the highest standards of hybrid subsidies 420,000 yuan each, pure electric bus every car allowance of 500,000 yuan, fuel-cell buses 600,000 yuan per car allowance.The thesis based on the major project "FAW pure electric bus prototype vehicle control system and the research and development", match one type Plug in hybrid buses and pure electric buses for comparison, do some work for the next round of the prototype development groundwork.The main content of this thesis is study on control strategy and parametric design of the plug-in hybrid powertrain:1. Plug-in hybrid buses plan and simulation softwareHybrid city bus series and parallel arrangement have their advantages and disadvantages respectively. Generally speaking, the series solution have better emissions than the parallel solution, and scheme of parallel have better fuel economy. Because this thesis matching plug-in hybrid buses are based on pure electric buses, in order to make full use of the existing motor, batteries and resources, decide using lithium ion battery, ac induction motor, the diesel engine generator - which is composed of the driving type series arrangement.2. Parametric design of the series plug-in hybrid powertrainThis thesis based on performance index of the traditional buses and electric buses, and puts forward the performance index Plug in tandem hybrid buses will reach the performance index. The thesis make full use of theoretical analysis, the condition analysis and simulation analysis methods to design the motor, battery system, engine-generator system and drivetrain as parameters. Ultimately determines the series plug-in hybrid buses powertrain parameters.3. Control strategy of the series plug-in hybrid powertrainThe series plug-in hybrid powertrain in battery drive individually ,battery and engine jointly drive, engine drive individually and regenerative braking separately under the different energy flow. This thesis based on the analysis of the pure electric strategy, with the engine to mix strategy and with electric to mix strategy. On the basis of plug-in hybrid buses to achieve design index, the author decide to use with electric to mix strategy, so as to fully exert the function, with battery systems in power system from the battery power alternative fuel consumption, so as to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, and improve the efficiency of the system. This thesis introduces the control objectives and the control model of the control strategy, draws the flow diagram of the control strategy. The thesis determine how to use the four working conditions of battery drive individually ,battery and engine jointly drive, engine drive individually and regenerative braking. And limit the switch of engine state and engine working area, make the engine limited working in high efficient interval. Finally embed the control strategy into ADVISOR and implement the control strategy in the simulation software.4. The series plug-in hybrid buses modeling simulationThis thesis based on the existing model in the ADVISOR software, by reforming the plug-in tandem hybrid buses in the ADVISOR of modularity realization of each module, and made the decision oh the control parameters. The analysis of simulation results show that for the parameter is reasonable, the matched series plug-in hybrid buses compared to traditional bus power is equivalent,and have improved fuel economy, lower manufacturing costs and higher adaptability than pure electric buses.This research thesis reflects the pure electric buses and plug-in tandem hybrid buses, performance for the next to the development of preparation.
