The performance of all parts of the wind turbine generator set directly affects the quantity of electricity and normal operation of the wind turbine.In the base of the study on the yaw system of the wind turbine,this paper analyzed the performance of yaw bearing which is the key part of the wind turbine in the static and dynamic loads emphatically.Firstly, it established a 3-D model of yaw bearing with 4-contact-point using the method of the parametric designing in the modeling module of UG,and inputted it into ANSYS through midst format.Then,it analyzed the bending stress of gear tooth in the outer circle and the intensity of the ball in the ANSYS,and contrasted it with the traditional ways to improve the structure.On this basis,it did the mode analysis of the bearing which is the dynamic analysis, and found its Natural frequency and the largest mode which will provide reference and direction for the running of the wind turbine.Finally,with a view of the starting and stopping incessantly,it analyzed the performance of the gear tooth in the transient load and contrast with the static analysis to indicate the importance of the dynamic analysis.The results showed: this method can find out the weakness of the designing,all of these offered reference to the designing and running of the yaw bearing in the future.
