PSCAD-based Research Of HVDC Transmission Control System Modeling

HVDC has obvious advantages in long distance high capacity power transmission and power net linking.It will take an essential role in the electric power transmitting project from the West to the East and electric power new linking project.Controlling system,which is the core unit of HVDC project,has nice flexibility to exert the best performance of regulating and for various running methods.The optimal design of HVDC control and protection parameters in the case of large-scale AC and DC power system network is a valid measure to ensure achieving good transient and stable performance.Real-time simulation is unsuitable for this case due to its limited network node and high cost.modeling work for HVDC transmission control systemic emulation platform is primary accomplished(exclusive of programming).
