Measurement of the driving current is very important to analyze the actual feed-in electric power of Z-pinch load,as well as calculate the radiation conversion efficiency of the Z-Pinch imploding plasma and analyzze the dynamic parameter of the load.In this paper different measurement methods and their experiment results of the Z- pinch load current are presented.Rogowski coils of different parameters and structures were made according to the structure of the QG-I accelerator and the measuring trait of high pulsed current.The experiment result shows that not only can the return-loops of self-integral eliminate the disturbing of the angled leakage magnetic flux,but also assure high frequency characteristics of the coils.Current measurement study of fast Z-pinch on QG-I accelerator has been carried out.And the experiment results prove that the "trailing" of current back edge has no relation to the detector based on the self-integral Rogowski coil and differential loop experiment.Meanwhile it tests the performances of the detector,and affirms the differential loop' application in the measurement of Z-pinch current.The "trailing" phenomena of the Z-pinch load current has been studied through various sorts of experiments.The common problems of current measurement of Z-pinch have been briefly discussed as well.
