The wind turbine rotor is one of the key plants in the wind power generation system,and the high-powered wind turbine blade is the guarantee for the efficient using of the wind power.The analysis of the aerodynamic characteristic and the shape design which are studied in this paper is based on the blade momentum element theory,and the corresponding compute program is compiled by the Fortran language.This paper contains two parts,in the part of aerodynamic characteristic analysis,based on the geometric shape of the known blade and the aerodynamic characteristic of the airfoil and some correction models,the mathematic models of the blade aerodynamic characteristic and load analysis have been built;In the part of the blade aerodynamic shape design,while the distribution of airfoils along the blade spanwise have been known,based on the selectional airfoils and their aerodynamic characteristic,the chord and twist in each section along the blade spanwise have been computed out,then the blade shape has been gained and its aerodynamic characteristic and load distribution have been analysed and computed out.In addition,the design method of the preliminary bend blade is introduced in this paper,and the large wind tuebine preliminary bend blade can be designed in this method.Several calculation examples have been introduced into this paper to verify the availability about the aerodynamic characteristic analysis and shape design of the wind turbine blade.
