There are more and more generator units of high parameter and large scale followed by the development of the power industry.The safe operation of turbine and its digital electro-hydraulic(DEH) control system assure the power quality and the economic operation of all equipment during the operation of electric power plant.With the development of distributed control system(DCS)based on micro-processor,as well as the increasingly mature and open technologies for DEH,DEH can be designed as a sub-system of DCS supplied by DCS manufacturer.It is a development direction that DEH can be integrated in DCS. A certain 600MW turbine,as an example of this paper,explain how to design the DEH system from all aspects of combination,function,interface with other systems and control strategy of DEH.And also compare the integrated design for DCS&DEH with the non-integrated design to analyze the advantage of integrated design.
