By using the isolated airfoils theory and the cascade theory,the axial ventilating fan has been investigated in this paper.An assistant design software for the axial ventilating fan has been developed by using Fortran to compile the aerodynamic design program and the 3 dimensional force control software.The working interface of this software is friendly and convenient,the user only needs to input the original design parameters and choose the rotation speed as well as the stage,then could filter and optimize the axial fan fast,adjust the blades number and the hub ratio,even could confirm the axial fan stage type and the blade form.If the fronting guide vane is adjustable,then it be could changed through varying the installation angle.The user can save the result when it's satisfactory.The software can be used on the design of both high pressure axial fan and the medium low pressure axial fan. Compared with the traditional design method,this software can reduce the fan size,weight, and the noise,which in return is a good illustration on the advantage.
