To enhance the level of the substation automatization,promote automatization technology and achieve devices interoperability,the International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC) issues the IEC61850 standard which covers the entire communication network and system,and the official version in 2003 is published. China Electricity Council organizes a special working group to study the standard and convert IEC61850 standard into China's power industry standard DL/T860,which is published consecutively in 2004.Presently,domestic agencies are tracking and studying new trend of IEC61850 standard,which is on the phase of research and test of consistency.At first,the thesis will make in-depth research on the IEC61850 standard,sum up its connotation and chief technical characteristic,and analyse present research of it. Then,along with the introduction of high voltage direct current(HVDC) and flexible alternating current transmission(FACT) system,the thesis analyses their communication requirements.On the basis of analysis of accuracy and responding speed with which the HVDC and FACT system require the communication module,a new method for engineering development based on the IEC61850 standard will be proposed in this thesis.It concerns many aspects such as system function modeling,building intelligent electronic device(IED) information model,substation document configuration, implementation of IED information model,mapping and implementation of communication service,test of equipment consistency.It will apply the method to HVDC and FACT system to realize message transmission of control command and multicast sampled value(MSV).Because of the different transmission condition and direction of control command and MSV,they should be of specific design and program own communication codes.Generic object oriented substation event (GOOSE) transfers service transmit control command,MSV transfers service transmit multicast sampled value.Related technologies of the project include substation document configuration, implementation of application-level protocol data unit(APDU) coding and decoding, and embedded Ethernet.To satisfy the communication requirements for the project, the thesis will develop a cross-platform IED configurator which is based Java,make a secondary development based on asn1c-0.9.21 compiler to generate coding and decoding function to implement coding and decoding of APDU,and carry out communication based on the PF_PACKET socket of Linux system.Test results show that the communication function module design can realize accurate and real-time communication,and further prove that the engineering development method based on IEC61850 standard is a scientific and reasonable method.So the communication function module developed from the method can not only satisfy customer requirements but has the advantages of comprehensive functions,easy control and high reliability.So it provides a reference value for the application of IEC61850 standard and holds a broad application prospect.
