Firstly,a new method based on chaotic particle swarm optimization algorithm is propsed to serve the problem of particle swarm optimization algorithm that easy to fall into local optimum by integrating chaotic optimization into particle swarm optimization to increase the-diversity of the particle and adjust the inertia weights by dynamic. Secondly,a unified optimal operation model of Jinshajiang cascade stations is established based on analizing the information of hydrology,hydraulic,engineering and power in detail.The background of the model is the running of the twelve stations on Jinshajiang,and chaotic particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to solve the model.Tirdly,this paper also uses progressive optimality algofithm to solve the model in order to verify the efficiency of chaotic particle swarm optimization algorithm.The results show that chaotic particle swarm optimization algorithm is better than progressive optimization algofithm,because it can achieve global optimal solution and the computing time is shorter.Finally,on the optimal operation benefit analysis Jinshajiang cascade united scheduling greatly enhance the system's firm power and average annual generated energy and reduce the generated energy ratio of the flood and dry period.The benefit is remarkble.
