In this paper,according to the characteristics of Cascade hydropower stations in Youxi River Basin,The Youxi River Street.of the Jiemian,Shuidong and Yong Kou hydropower station as the research object,on the cascade hydropower stations in the short-term optimization scheduling problem were studied.Its characteristics of hydropower station is analyzed,A short term optimal scheduling model is established,which is the maximum power generation("make electricity from water " model")and the minimum water consumption(" electricity water "model),In order to find out the optimal operation criterion of the cascade hydropower stations in the two operation modes,it is better to guide the operation of the actual reservoir.The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)combined with the Youxi River cascade hydropower station features and scheduling of actual production,through the "make electricity from water" and"electric water" of the two optimization scheduling model to electric,study the Youxi River Cascade Hydropower Station short-term optimal scheduling objective function,The mathematical model of the maximum generating capacity of cascadehydropower stations is established,and the minimum water consumption mathematical model.(2)briefly introduces several for cascade hydropower stations in the short-term optimal'scheduling of commonly used intelligent optimization algorithm,in detail elaborated basic particle swarm optimization algorithm the basic principle and the realization method,basic particle swarm optimization algorithm has the advantages of simple algorithm,easy to implement,less adjustable parameters,etc.,but it also has some shortcomings.That is the problem of local convergence and slow convergence speed in the later stage,the basic particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is easy to fall into local optimum,for discrete optimization problems dealing with poorly,namely traditional convergence "premature" phenomenon.Moreover,the algorithm in the objective function to find the optimal solution process,the back,converges more slowly,sometimes even caught in the stop of the state.In view of the basic particle group optimization algorithm is easy to fall into local optimization and convergence speed at the late period of the shortcoming of slow,this paper introduces the compression factor and the crossover operator to improve,and test the improved particle group optimization algorithm feasibility.(3)to explain in detail the step by step optimization of the load distribution algorithm,and the algorithm is applied to the optimization of water consumption in this paper.(4)using improved particle group optimization algorithm solve the problem of cascaded hydropower station maximum power output of the mathematical model,pass through the research on the power generation of the three power stations during the daily operation period,analyse the optimal operation rules of reservoirs in Youxi basin.(5)The minimum model of cascade water consumption is solved by using the method of successive optimization step by step,Under the premise of meeting the load demand of the electric power system.The optimal load distribution of the cascade hydropower stations in each interval period is obtained.(6)The improved particle swarm optimization algorithm and the step by step optimization of the load allocation algorithm for the cascade hydropower stations in Youxi River basin,and the calculation results are compared and analyzed.
