The oil chromatogram analysis of gas dissolved in oil is important way to detecting fault inside a transformer.With the development of power grid and the boost of operating voltage,the technology of oil chromatogram concerned gas dissolved in oil are improving gradually,developing from conventional method to on-line monitoring method which is adopted now.The technology of oil chromatogram on-line monitoring which has been applied to 500KV transformer in Shaheying Substation is researched in this thesis.The generation mechanism of gas dissolved in oil and the relationship between gas chromatogram and fault types are well discussed,the factors that affect the error of on-line monitoring are studied,and the technology principle of oil chromatogram on-line monitoring of transformer is stated.The implementation of on-line monitoring system of Shaheying Substation has been proved,the related function and principle of monitoring analytic system is studied either,and the application has been carried out.The comparison between the data from the on-line monitoring device of oil chromatogram and from conventional devices is made.The results show the applied device is reliable in device operation and stable in data measurement,and these data can be used as evidence to determine whether there is electrical insulation fault inside a transformer or not.
