At present,the unbalanced load is becoming more and more serious in power system.For economic and technical reasons,we chose Static Var Compensator as research object.We study the method of compensating unbalanced load based on the type of SVC(FC+TCR)Firstly,this paper introduces formulas of asymmetric degree of three-phase system and interrelated national standard.The mathematical reasoning of imbalance compensation on condition that three-phase three-wire system and three-phase four-wire system is deduced.The strategy of Static Var Compensator for compensating unbalanced load which based on instantaneous reactive power theory is given.The improvement of the formulas on condition that three-phase four-wire system are studied.The strategy of control system is validated by SVC simulation. The emulation experiment approves availability and feasibility of the algorithm.
