With China’s power electronics industry and its industry development, the scale of modern power system and technology development speeds up day by day. On the other hand, the user end of the unbalanced load and flicker load but also makes the power quality the results showed low power factor. Load balance of the whole power system cause bigger loss and unnecessary equipment cost increase, timely in the load is balanced condition, electric motor, electric arc furnace and electric locomotive used. In the power grid users receiving end before joining the reactive power compensation device is necessary is fully embodied, is also the focus of this paper.This article through instantaneous reactive power compensation principle of the power factor is relatively low motor and electric arc furnace electrical equipment with electrical environment simulation.
