Ordinary concrete with lower tensile strength generally,poor durability and cracking easily makes a lot of concrete structures early damaged because of its poor performance.And it results in serious economic losses.In order to improve the performance of concrete,people are starting to add a variety of materials in concrete.And the fiber reinforced concrete is an important area of research of contemporary modified-concrete.Adding small,short-cut fibers to concrete in the uniform distribution can clearly resist cracking and play the effect of strengthening and toughening.CoMPared to other fibers, basalt fibers is fiber with a number of advantages such as being environmentally friendly, easily accessing,high strength and high elastic modulus.This paper researches on the bend behavior of fourteen reinforced concrete beams reinforced with basalt fiber.This paper includes four parts listed as follows:By means of the research of the testing beams,variables of the volume fraction of basalt fiber,the length of basalt fiber and the ratio of longitudinal reinforcement are analyzed.The formula for calculating normal section strength of flexural of basalt fiber-reinforced concrete beams is put forward,which is connected with criterion put in practice.The factors affecting crack-resistant moment of basalt fiber-reinforced concrete beams are studied.The formula for calculating crack-resistant moment of basalt fiber-reinforced concrete beams is put forward,according to criterion for hydraulic structures.The factors influencing the width of crack of basalt fiber-reinforced concrete are analyzed.The formula for calculating the maximum width of crack of basalt fiber-reinforced concrete beams is put forward,according to criterion.The deflection of basalt fiber-reinforced concrete beams and the factors influencing the deflection are discussed.On the basis of criterion,the short-term stiffness of basalt fiber-reinforced concrete beams is proposed.
