Trussed combination arch bridge was first created in China in the eighties of the last century .it has many advantages, such as beautiful lightness structure, large spanning ability, saving labor and material, comparison of simple construction and etc.In the past 20 years it has been strongly promote and have achieved very good results. However, after 20 years of development and use, this bridge type gradually revealed numerous shortcomings and disease is becoming more serious. In this paper, according to the emerging disease of the Duge bridge in the city of Liupanshui, carried out static and dynamic experimental research and analysis of the causes of diseases. Through the survey of main diseases and structural damage of the Duge bridge, we use the large-scale finite element analysis softwares Midas2006 and Ansys 11.0 to establish the finite element model, which included the establishment. And gradually adjust the stiffness value of each part of the model. Eventually make the mechanical properties of the bridge in line with the experimental results. On this basis calculated analyzed the control sections of the stress and deformation of the bridge under the dead load, prestress, concrete shrinkage, creep, the overall temperature, live loads and the most adverse conditions. At the same time, the reinforced methods were introduced. In the paper, described in detail of the trussed combination arch bridge's static and dynamic tests of the simulation model set up process and the role of different load conditions of the calculation results. Finally analyzed the causes of diseases of this type bridge, and discussed the design and reinforcement methods. The analysis methods, the employed analytical tools as well as the analysis we obtained have a reference value to guide the management and conservation of the trussed combination arch bridge.
