As a result of steel reinforced high strength and high performance concrete frame column with a series of advantages such as high strength,excellent stiffness,and good seismic performance,it has been widely applied to various types of high-rise buildings, large-span structures and heavy-load components.It is mainly composed of steel and concrete materials,and the performance difference of two types of materials,the cooperating-work ability as well as the brittleness of high-strength concrete lead to this type of frame column in complex mechanical state.It is not only different from pure steel frame columns but also different from reinforced concrete frame columns.There are a lot of factors to influence its mechanical behavior.In this paper,based on experimental results of 13 steel reinforced high strength and high performance concrete frame columns under low cyclic repeated load,the destruction phenomenon and the mechanical indexes of the specimens are obtained.The influence of axial compression ratio,shear span ratio,and concrete strength on seismic bearing capacity,seismic behaviors,hysteretic curves and skeleton curves of the specimens is discussed.Applying ANSYS finite element software to numerically model the experimental process of 13 original size specimens,and the stress distribution of various component materials and the crack distribution of specimen concrete was obtained.The numerical calculation results agree well with the experimental results,so the finite element model in the paper is feasible.Based on the test data of 13 specimens above as well as related test data in home and abroad,applying current popular gray relational analysis theory,the influencing factors of ultimate bearing capacity of the specimens which occurred baroclinic shear or bending failure is analyzed,and the influencing extent order of various factors on ultimate bearing capacity of two type failures is obtained respectively.As a result of previous more studies for shear failure,the parameter changes such as longitudinal reinforcement ratio,steel ratio,and axial compression ratio are discussed further to reveal the impact of three factors on the ultimate bearing capacity of SRHSHPC frame columns which occurred bending failure.
